Being an atheist is okay.
Being an atheist and shaming religions and spirituality as silly and not real is not okay.
Being a Christian is okay.
Being homophobic, misogynistic, racist, or otherwise hateful person in the name of Christianity is not okay.
Having any belief is ok
Being an asshole about it is not
Being a Christian is okay.
Having beliefs that range from but not being limited to: homophobia,misogynistic, racist, or otherwise hateful person in the name of Christianity, or any other religion but most specifically Christianity, is not okay.
Here’s some more clarification: Being a Christian, Muslim, Jew, Atheist, etc etc. is perfectly fine. Being an asshole to multitudes of groups of people and explaining you have a right to do so because your book says so or that it goes against your interpretation of the word of God is not okay.
